As OTGrow is expanding, we needed to train additional OTGrow facilitators to meet the needs. Here are our current 15 officially trained OTGrow facilitators. They are an amazing group of people, each with their own style. Get to know our facilitators better …

– Determined, go-getter who can multi-task yet still has time and empathy for others
– Lecturer, PhD student  and practice owner
– Great sense of humour, willing to go the extra mile for others, reaching out in practical ways to the homeless, a man of God.

Annalie Meyer

– Partner in private practice (occupational therapy) at Optima@RustEnVrede.
– Dedicated and conscientious while still being fun-loving.
– Has a heart for all people, loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys
– Exchanged academia for creating a Community Built Practice – an NPO shelter that cares for abused woman and children
– Gentle, soft, soulful, out-of-the-box thinker
– Connector of diverse people working to a common goal jogging

Corne Conradie

Physical OT with a curiosity about what drives people and working in pain management
– Courageously left government service after 25 years
– Creative facilitator: sews, knits, crochets, paints, bakes delicious cakes

Francesca Weir

Recently relocated to Scotland and is one of our facilitators in the UK
– Energetic, hard-working and willing to go into the unknown (physically, mentally and socially)
– Loves being outdoors, has style and radiates a warmth that makes others feel comfortable quickly

Heidi Morgan

Exchanged an ENT practice during Covid for farm manager and retreat facilitator
– Calm presence, good listener and healer
– Father of 6 kids, loves hiking and being outdoors 
– Breeder of registered Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs and Percheron horses

Andri Eloff

– Founder of MoreThan, creating safe spaces for people to heal in communities
– Pastoral and Imago Relationship Therapist
– Exchanged being a pastor for being a change-maker
– Grows bonsais, loves to paint and the outdoors; camping with his family and fishing

Michael Fouche (Interne)

– Beautiful combination of firm pushing and gentle support and amazing ability to read any group
– Philosopher with interest in African philosophy & ethics in mental health, carer and student
– Sings loudly to sea-shanties, loves Dungeons & Dragons and the weird-&-wonderful

Michelle van Vuren

– Recently relocated to England, and is one of our OTGrow facilitators in UK
– Organised, focused and knows what she wants
– Dances, loves to travel and experience new things and is willing to go to uncomfortable places, even within herself

Jolena Nicols

– Our OTGrow Creative Spaces facilitator
– Imago Professional Facilitator, which she completed with her husband.
– Creative and an artist in her own right, can listen deeply and be present

Juan Oeschger (Interne)

– Philosopher and entrepreneur
– Has a deep concern of the environment and loves hiking
– Deep thinker, that brings calm and perspective to any tense situation

Louise Fouche

– Founder of OTGrow
– Co-author of “Too close to remember” book written with one of her clients
– Passionate about groups, she believes groups are scared- and has had the privileged to witnessing hundreds of people’s stories in groups
– Loves reading, dancing and laughing and is passionate about the spiritual journey

Riaan du Toit

– Our Psychodrama facilitator
– With ease he can contain all emotions “without flinching”
– Unconventional at times
– Fiercely loyal, challenges mediocrity and is deeply caring

Thabiso Nkosi

– Attended the most OTGrow courses to date- shaping him into one of SA’s top group therapists
– Sensitive which enables him to really see and empathise with people
– Collect sneakers, loves his meat and is passionate about fast cars

Thomas van Vuren

– Enjoys soul encounters
– Courageously is willing to start uncomfortable dialogues
– Not afraid of being present to death, and so too to life
– Editor, dancer, choreographer and therapist- all in one

Natasha Biddulph

– Enthusiast, high energy, optimistic with a great sense of humour
– Additional to being owner of a psychiatric practice at a hospital in Witbank, she is also a medico-legal practitioner
– Incredible ability to trust herself, her clients, the group process and God
